S.I. No. 163/2015 - Courts and Court Officers Act 2002 (Register of Reserved Judgments) (Amendment) Regulations 2015.

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 46 (amended by section 62 of the Court of Appeal Act 2014 (No. 18 of 2014)) of the Courts and Court Officers Act 2002 (No. 15 of 2002) (adapted by the Justice and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 138 of 2011 )), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Courts and Court Officers Act 2002 (Register of Reserved Judgments) (Amendment) Regulations 2015.

2. The Courts and Court Officers Act 2002 (Register of Reserved Judgments) Regulations 2005 ( S.I. No. 171 of 2005 ) are amended—

(a) in Regulation 5(1), by the insertion of the following subparagraph after subparagraph (a):

“(aa) in respect of the part of the register relating to the Court of Appeal, the Office of the Registrar of the Court of Appeal,”, and

(b) by the substitution of the following Schedule for Schedule 2:

Request for certified copy of entry or entries

Regulation 6, Courts and Court Officers Act 2002

These Regulations amend the Courts and Court Officers Act 2002 (Register of Reserved Judgments) Regulations 2005 (S.I. No 171/2005) to provide for the establishment and maintenance on computer by the Courts Service of a register of judgments reserved by the Court of Appeal and set out the location of the Register and the arrangements for getting a copy of an entry in the Register.
