I, JAN O’SULLIVAN, Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government by sections 3 and 21 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (No. 22 of 2009), as adapted by the Environment, Heritage and Local Government (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 193 of 2011 ), which powers are delegated to me by the Environment, Community and Local Government (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2012 ( S.I. No. 148 of 2012 ), hereby make the following regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Social Housing Assessments (Summary) Regulations 2013.

Commencement

2. These Regulations come into operation on 1 February 2013.

Interpretation

3. In these Regulations, “Act of 2009” means the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (No. 22 of 2009).

Summary of social housing assessments

4. The form set out in the Schedule is prescribed for the purposes of the preparation by a housing authority of a summary of social housing assessments carried out in its administrative area in accordance with section 21 of the Act of 2009.
