S.I. No. 54/2011 - Health and Children (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2011.


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 4th February, 2011.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Health and Children and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Children (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2011.

2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Health and Children conferred on her by or under the enactments specified in the Schedule are delegated to Barry Andrews, Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children.

SCHEDULE

Adoption Act 2010 (No. 21 of 2010)

Child Care Acts 1991 to 2007

Children Acts 2001 to 2007 (other than section 167 of the Children Act 2001 (No. 24 of 2001))

Subsections (1)(d) and (2) of section 2 of the Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 (No. 32 of 2007) in so far as those subsections relate to the Young People’s Facilities and Services Fund

Ombudsman for Children Act 2002 (No. 22 of 2002)

Protections for Persons Reporting Child Abuse Act 1998 (No. 49 of 1998)

Youth Work Act 2001 (No. 42 of 2001) (other than section 18 and the Schedule thereto)
