Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 22nd June, 2010.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2010.

(2) This Order comes into operation on 16 June 2010.

2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food conferred on him—

(a) by or under the provisions of the Acts specified in Part 1 of theSchedule, and

(b) under the Regulations made under section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) specified in Part 2 of the Schedule,

are delegated to Ciarán Cuffe, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

Food Standards Act 1974 (No. 11 of 1974)

Registration of Potato Growers and Potato Packers Acts 1984 and 2004

An Bord Bia Acts 1994 to 2004, in so far as they relate to horticulture
