S.I. No. 281/2009 - Pharmacy Act 2007 (Commencement) Order 2009

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 28th July, 2009.

I, MARY HARNEY, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Pharmacy Act 2007 (No. 20 of 2007)) hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Pharmacy Act 2007 (Commencement) Order 2009.

2. The 1st day of August 2009 is appointed as the day on which the Pharmacy Act 2007 (No. 20 of 2007) shall come into operation insofar as it is not already in operation.

This Commencement Order sets the date, the 1st day of August 2009, on which the remaining Sections of the Pharmacy Act 2007 (No. 20 of 2007) shall come into operation insofar as they are not already in operation.
