Amendment of section 22 of Criminal Procedure Act 1967.

25.— Section 22 of the Criminal Procedure Act 1967 is amended by inserting the following subsection after subsection (1A) (inserted by section 18 (a) of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 ):

“(1B) A recognisance to which subsection (1) applies may be taken by—

(a) any judge of the District Court, or

(b) any District Court clerk.”.
