Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2007

The Government, on request of the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1.        This Order may be cited as the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2007.

2.        The powers and duties of the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment conferred on that Minister by or under the Investment Funds, Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2006 (No. 41 of 2006) are delegated to Mr. Michael Ahern, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

This Order delegates to Michael Ahern, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, the Statutory powers and duties of the Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment contained in the Investment Funds Companies and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2006.
