Amendments to Health Contributions Act 1979.

8.— (1) Section 7A of the Health Contributions Act 1979 (as amended by section 13(1) of the Act of 2006) is amended—

(a) in subsection (1)—

(i) in paragraph (a) by substituting “€500” for “€480”, and

(ii) in paragraph (b) by substituting “€26,000” for “€24,960”,

and

(b) in subsection (2) by substituting “€26,000” for “€24,960”.

(2) This section comes into operation on 1 January 2008.
