I, Mary Harney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Regulation (EC) No. 146/2003 of 27 January 20031 , hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Interruption of Certain Economic Relations with Angola) (Revocation) Regulations 2003. 2. The European Communities (Interruption of Certain Economic Relations with Angola) Regulations 1998 ( S.I. No. 503 of 1998 ) are revoked. | ||||||

The effect of this Order, which gives effect to Council Regulation (EC) No. 146/2003 of 27 January 2003, is to revoke the Statutory Instrument that provided for penalties for breaches of the EU prohibition on the reduction of certain economic relations with Angola. | ||||||
