S.I. No. 49/2003 - European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products From China) (Amendment) Regulations 2003
I, Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Decision No. 2002/994/EC of 20 December 20021 as amended by Commission Decision No. 2003/72/EC of 30 January 20032 , hereby make the following regulations— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products from China (Amendment) Regulations 2003. 2. The European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products from China) Regulations 2002 ( S.I. No. 141 of 2002 ) are amended, in Article 2(1) by the substitution for the definition of “Commission Decision” (inserted by the European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products from China (Amendment) Regulations 2002 ( S.I. No. 559 of 2002 )), of— | ||||||
“‘Commission Decision’ means to Commission Decision No. 2002/994/EC of 20 December 2002 as amended by Commission Decision No. 2003/72/EC of 30 January 2003.”. | ||||||
