S.I. No. 562/2001 - Standards in Public Office Act, 2001 (Sections 15 and 27) Regulations, 2001

I, Charlie McCreevy, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 15 and 27 of the Standards in Public Office Act, 2001 (No. 31 of 2001), hereby make the following regulations:

1.       These Regulations may be cited as the Standards in Public Office Act, 2001 (Sections 15 and 27) Regulations, 2001.

2.       The Standards in Public Office Act, 2001 (No. 31 of 2001), is amended -

(a)      in section 14(2)(e), by the substitution for “1999” of “2001” and “paragraph (b)” for “subsection (2)”,

(b)      in section 20(2), by the deletion of “(a)”.

3.       The Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995 (No. 22 of 1995), is hereby amended in section 5(2) by the substitution of “Commission” for “Clerk”.
