S.I. No. 16/2001 - National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act, 2000 (Central Treasury Services) (Delegation of Functions) Order, 2001

I, CHARLIE McCREEVY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Sections 21 (2) and 23 (1) of the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act, 2000 (No. 39 of 2000), order as follows:

1.      This Order may be cited as the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act, 2000 (Central Treasury Services) (Delegation of Functions) Order, 2001.

2.      The functions of the Minister under Section 20 (1) and Section 21 (1) of the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act, 2000 (No. 39 of 2000) are delegated to the Agency.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order delegates to the National Treasury Management Agency the functions of the Minister for Finance in relation to the provision of central treasury services to designated bodies and the advance of moneys to the Post Office Savings Bank Fund for these purposes.
