S.I. No. 451/2000 - Killarney Urban District Boundary Alteration Order, 2000.

The Minister for the Environment and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 3 and 31 (1) of the Local Government Act, 1991 hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Killarney Urban District Boundary Alteration Order, 2000.

2. This Order shall come into operation on 1 January 2001.

3. The areas shown as “relevant areas” on the map titled “Killarney UDC 2001” dated 15 December 2000, and attached to this Order, shall be detached from the Country Health District of Kerry and from then on they shall be included in and form part of the Urban District of Killarney and the boundary of the Urban District shall accordingly stand altered in accordance with that map

This Order extends the boundary of the Urban District of Killarney from 1 January 2001. It should be read together with a separate order, the Killarney Urban District Boundary Alteration (Supplementary) Order, 2000, (S.I. 452 of 2000) which contains supplementary provisions related to the boundary extension.
