S.I. No. 394/1999 - Harbours Act, 1996 (Transfer of Ballyshannon and Buncrana Harbours To Donegal County Council) Order, 1999.

I, MICHAEL WOODS, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 88 (2) of the Harbours Act, 1996 (No. 11 of 1996), as adapted by the Marine (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 301 of 1997 ), and with the consent of the Minister for the Environment and Local Government, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1996 (Transfer of Ballyshannon and Buncrana Harbours to Donegal County Council) Order, 1999.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of December, 1999.

3. There are hereby transferred to the County Council of the County of Donegal all the property, rights, and liabilities, and every member of staff, of each of the following harbour authorities, namely, Ballyshannon Harbour Commissioners and Buncrana Harbour Commissioners.
