S.I. No. 269/1999 - Eastern Regional Health Authority (Area Health Boards) Regulations, 1999.
The Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 16 (1) of the Health (Eastern Regional Health Authority) Act, 1999 (No. 13 of 1999) hereby makes the following Regulations: | ||||||||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Eastern Regional Health Authority (Area Health Boards) Regulations, 1999. | ||||||||
2. In these Regulations— | ||||||||
“the Act” means the Health (Eastern Regional Health Authority) Act, 1999 (No. 13 of 1999); | ||||||||
3. There shall be 19 members of the Northern Area Health Board, consisting of: | ||||||||
(a) 6 members of the Authority appointed by Dublin Corporation; | ||||||||
(b) 4 members of the Authority appointed by Fingal County Council; | ||||||||
(c) 5 members of the Authority elected by members of the registered professions; | ||||||||
(d) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(i) of the Act to represent the voluntary hospitals; | ||||||||
(e) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(ii) of the Act to represent the voluntary intellectual disability service providers; | ||||||||
(f) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(iii) of the Act to represent other voluntary bodies, and | ||||||||
(g) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(d) of the Act. | ||||||||
4. There shall be 21 members of the South Western Area Health Board, consisting of: | ||||||||
(a) 4 members of the Authority appointed by Kildare County Council; | ||||||||
(b) 4 members of the Authority appointed by South Dublin County Council; | ||||||||
(c) 1 member of the Authority appointed by Wicklow County Council; | ||||||||
(d) 3 members of the Authority appointed by Dublin Corporation; | ||||||||
(e) 5 members of the Authority elected by members of the registered professions; | ||||||||
(f) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(i) of the Act to represent the voluntary hospitals; | ||||||||
(g) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(ii) of the Act to represent the voluntary intellectual disability service providers; | ||||||||
(h) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(iii) of the Act to represent other voluntary bodies, and | ||||||||
(j) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(d) of the Act. | ||||||||
5. There shall be 15 members of the East Coast Area Health Board, consisting of: | ||||||||
(a) 4 members of the Authority appointed by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council; | ||||||||
(b) 3 members of the Authority appointed by Wicklow County Council; | ||||||||
(c) one member of the Authority appointed by Dublin Corporation; | ||||||||
(d) 3 members of the Authority elected by members of the registered professions; | ||||||||
(e) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(i) of the Act to represent the voluntary hospitals; | ||||||||
(f) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(ii) of the Act to represent the voluntary intellectual disability service providers; | ||||||||
(g) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(c)(iii) of the Act to represent other voluntary bodies, and | ||||||||
(h) one member of the Authority appointed by the Minister under section 11(2)(d) of the Act. | ||||||||
