S.I. No. 235/1999 - European Communities (Prevention of Supply of Certain Goods and Services To Libya) (Revocation) Regulations, 1999
I, MARY HARNEY, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purposes of giving effect to Council Regulation (EC) No. 836/1999 of 20 April 19991 , hereby make the following Regulations: | ||||||||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Prevention of Supply of Certain Goods and Services to Libya) (Revocation) Regulations, 1999. | ||||||||
2. The European Communities (Prevention of Supply of Certain Goods and Services to Libya) Regulations, 1993 ( S.I. No. 384 of 1993 ), are hereby revoked. | ||||||||

The effect of this Order is to revoke S.I. No. 384 of 1993 which provided for penalties for infringements on the prohibitions on the supply of certain goods and services to Libya as provided for in Council Regulation (EC) No. 3274/93 of 29 November, 1993. | ||||||||
