S.I. No. 155/1999 - Criminal Justice (Location of Victims' Remains) Act, 1999 (Commencement) Order, 1999.


I, JOHN O'DONOGHUE, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 14 (2) of the Criminal Justice (Location of Victims’ Remains) Act, 1999 (No. 9 of 1999), after consultation with the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Location of Victims’ Remains) Act, 1999 (Commencement) Order, 1999.

2. The 26th day of May 1999, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Criminal Justice (Location of Victims’ Remains) Act, 1999 (No. 9 of 1999) shall come into operation.
