REFERENDUM ACT, 1994 REFERENDUM (BALLOT PAPER) ORDER, 1998.

The Minister for the Environment and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 24 of the Referendum Act, 1994 (No. 12 of 1994), hereby makes the following order, a draft of which has been approved by a resolution passed by each House of the Oireachtas:

1. This order may be cited as the Referendum (Ballot Paper) Order, 1998.

2. "CONRADH AMSTARDAM— TREATY OF AMSTERDAM" shall be included at the beginning of the front of the ballot paper to be used at the referendum on the Eighteenth Amendment of the Constitution Bill, 1998.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order allows for the wording "CONRADH AMSTARDAM — TREATY OF AMSTERDAM" to be included at the beginning of the ballot paper to be used at the referendum on the Eighteenth Amendment of the Constitution Bill, 1998.
