Amendment of Scientific and Technological Education (Investment) Fund Act, 1997. |
1.—The Scientific and Technological Education (Investment) Fund Act, 1997 , is hereby amended— | |
(a) in subsection (1) of section 3, by the substitution of “£130,000,000” for “£100,000,000” in paragraph (a), and | ||
(b) in subsection (1) of section 4, by the substitution of the following for subparagraph (i) of paragraph (c): | ||
“(i) the carrying out of research and development in any area of education, including, in particular, scientific and technological research and scientific and technological development, by or on behalf of a body, college or institute referred to in paragraph (a),”. |
