FINANCIAL TRANSFERS (FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF YUGOSLAVIA (SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO)) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1997

I, Charlie McCreevy, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 (4) of the Financial Transfers Act, 1992 (No. 27 of 1992), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Financial Transfers (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro)) (Revocation) Order, 1997.

2. The Financial Transfers (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro)) Regulations, 1992 ( S.I. No. 415 of 1992 ), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order revokes the Financial Transfers (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro)) Regulations, 1992 ( S.I. No. 415 of 1992 ) in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No. 2382/96 of 9 December 1996 which provides for the termination of United Nations financial sanctions against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro))
