DUBLIN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1992 (ASSIGNMENT OF FUNCTION) ORDER, 1997.

I, NIAMH BHREATHNACH, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 (2) (a) of the Dublin Institute of Technology Act, 1992 (No. 15 of 1992), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as Dublin Institute of Technology Act, 1992 (Assignment of Function) Order, 1997.

2. With effect from the 1st day of September, 1998, there is hereby assigned to the Dublin Institute of Technology the function of conferring degrees, postgraduate degrees and honorary awards.
