LITTER POLLUTION ACT, 1997 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1997.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 36 of the Litter Pollution Act, 1997 (No. 12 of 1997), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Litter Pollution Act, 1997 (Commencement) Order, 1997.

2. The Litter Pollution Act, 1997 shall come into operation on the 1st day of July 1997.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation on 1st July, 1997 all provisions of the Litter Pollution Act, 1997 .
