AIR NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT (APPLICATION OF REGULATIONS TO STATE AIRCRAFT) (GOVERNMENT) ORDER, 1997.

The Government

( a ) in pursuance of section 3 (2) of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 (No. 40 of 1936), hereby directs that—

(i)  Section 60 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 (as amended by the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1988 (No. 15 of 1988)), and

(ii) any regulations made under that section, to the extent that those regulations so provide,

shall apply to State Aircraft, and

( b ) in pursuance of section 6 (b) of that Act, authorises the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications to make regulations for carrying out the purposes of this Order.

This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation and Transport (Application of Regulations to State Aircraft) (Government) Order, 1997.
