IRISH MEDICINES BOARD ACT, 1995 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1996.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him in subsection 2 of section 38 of the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 (No. 29 of 1995), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 (Commencement) Order, 1996.

2. The Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 , in so far as is provided for in paragraphs (a), (b) and (e) of subsection 1 of section 4, and section 35 and the schedule to the Act shall come into operation on the 19th day of February, 1996.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to provide that the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 , in so far as is provided for in paragraphs (a), (b) and (e) of subsection 1 of section 4, and section 35 and the schedule to the Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of February, 1996.
