REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 18) (DUBLIN) (No. 2) ORDER, 1994.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 18) (Dublin) (No. 2) Order, 1994.

2. The existing Registrars' Districts of Balbriggan, Kilsallaghan, Lusk, Malahide and Swords shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Fingal.

3. The existing Registrars' Districts of Clondalkin, Rathcoole and Tallaght shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's district to be known as the Registrar's District of Dublin West.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1995.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the Dublin area so as to reduce the number of such districts in that area.
