REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 18) (DUBLIN) ORDER, 1994.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 18) (Dublin) Order, 1994.

2. The existing Registrars' Districts of North City 1 East, North City 1 West, North City 2, North City 3 and North City 4 shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of North Central.

3. The existing Registrars' Districts of Blanchardstown and Castleknock, Finglas and Glasnevin No. 1, Finglas and Glasnevin No. 2, and Lucan shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Dublin North West.

4. The existing Registrars' Districts of Ballyfermot, South City 1, South City 2, South City 3 and South City 5 shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of South Central.

5. The existing Registrars' Districts of Donnybrook No. 1 and Donnybrook No. 2 shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Donnybrook.

6. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1994.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the Dublin area so as to reduce the number of such districts in that area.
