EXTRADITION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1994 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1994.

I, MÁIRE GEOGHEGAN-QUINN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 17 (4) of the Extradition (Amendment) Act, 1994 (No. 6 of 1994), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Extradition (Amendment) Act, 1994 (Commencement) Order, 1994.

2. The 22nd day of August, 1994 is hereby fixed as the day on which the Extradition (Amendment) Act, 1994 (No. 6 of 1994), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes 22nd August, 1994 as the date on which the Extradition (Amendment) Act, 1994 comes into operation.
