Road Traffic Act, 1994

Amendment of section 47 of Principal Act.

34.—Section 47 of the Principal Act is hereby amended by the substitution for subsection (3) of the following:

“(3) In this section ‘speed limit’ means a limit which is—

(a) an ordinary speed limit,

(b) a general speed limit,

(c) the built-up area speed limit,

(d) a special speed limit, or

(e) the motorway speed limit.”.
