THE SOLICITORS ACTS, 1954 AND 1960 (APPRENTICES' FEES) REGULATIONS, 1993.

The Incorporated Law Society of Ireland in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 5 and 82 of the Solicitors Act, 1954 and with the concurrence of the President of the High Court hereby make the following Regulations.

1. On and after the date on which these Regulations shall come into operation, the fees specified in the Schedule hereon shall be paid to the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland in respect of the courses and examinations laid down in the Solicitors Acts, 1954 and 1960 (Apprenticeship and Education) Regulations, 1991 ( S.I. No. 9 of 1991 ), the Solicitors Acts, 1954 and 1960 (Apprenticeship and Education) (Amendment) Regulations, 1992 ( S.I. No. 359 of 1992 ), and the Solicitors Acts, 1954 and 1960 (Apprenticeship and Education) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 1992 ( S.I. No. 360 of 1992 ).

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 shall apply for the purposes of the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the purpose of the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas except insofar as it may be inconsistent with the Solicitors Acts, 1954 and 1960 or with these Regulations.

3. The Solicitors Acts, 1954 and 1960 (Apprentices' Fees) (No. 2) Regulations, 1992 ( S.I. No. 361 of 1992 ) shall be revoked as from the date of the operation of these Regulations.

4. These Regulations may be cited as the Solicitors Acts, 1954 and 1960 (Apprentices' Fees) Regulations, 1993 and they shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1993.
