REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 18) (TIPPERARY NORTH) ORDER, 1993.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 18) (Tipperary North) Order, 1993.

2. The division of the County of Tipperary North into Registrars' Districts shall be varied as follows:

( a ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Borrisokane, Cloughjordan, Riverstown and Terryglass shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Borrisokane.

( b ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Nenagh No. 1, Nenagh No. 2, Newport, Portroe, Silvermines and Toomevara shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Nenagh.

( c ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Bourney and Roscrea No. 1 shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Roscrea No. 1.

( d ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Borrisoleigh, Holycross, Littleton, Moyne and Thurles shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Thurles.

3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the County of Tipperary North so as to reduce the number of such districts in that county.
