PENSIONS ACT, 1990 (PART VII) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 (2) of the Pensions Act, 1990 (No. 25 of 1990), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This order may be cited as the Pensions Act, 1990 (Part VII) (Commencement) Order, 1992

2. Part VII of the Pensions Act, 1990 shall come into operation on the left of the 1st day of January, 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into effect the provisions of Part VII of the Pensions Act, 1990 .

Part VII of the Act provides for equal treatment for men and women in occupational benefit schemes.
