SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1992 (SECTION 34) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 34 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , hereby orders as follows:—

1 Short title.

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1992 (Section 34) (Commencment) Order, 1992.

2 Commencement.

2. Section 34 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 shall come into operation on the 6th day of April, 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings section 34 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , which provides for the discontinuance of pay-related benefit for new claimants to disability benefit or injury benefit, into effect from 6 April, 1992.
