IRELAND-UNITED STATES COMMISSION FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGE (ESTABLISHMENT DAY) ORDER, 1991.

I, GERARD COLLINS, T.D., Minister for Foreign Affairs, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 2 (2) of the Educational Exchange (Ireland and the United States of America) Act, 1991 (No. 12 of 1991), and with the agreement of the Ambassador in charge of the Diplomatic Mission of the United States of America to Ireland, hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Ireland-United States Commission for Educational Exchange (Establishment Day) Order, 1991.

2. The 3rd day of February, 1992, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Ireland-United States Commission for Educational Exchange shall stand established.

The Ambassador in charge of the Diplomatic Mission of the United States of America to Ireland hereby consents to the making of the foregoing Order:

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Section 2 of the Educational Exchange (Ireland and the United States of America) Act 1991 provides for the establishment of the Ireland-United States Commission for Educational Exchange to facilitate the administration of educational and cultural exchanges between Ireland and the United States of America. With the agreement of the Ambassador of the United States of America this Ministerial Order provides for the establishment of the Commission on 3 February 1992.
