INSURANCE ACT, 1990 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1990.

I, ALBERT REYNOLDS, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 12 of the Insurance Act, 1990 (No. 26 of 1990), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Insurance Act, 1990 (Commencement) Order, 1990.

2. The 1st day of August, 1990 is hereby appointed as the day on which the Insurance Act, 1990 (No. 26 of 1990) shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation the Insurance Act, 1990 with effect from 1st August, 1990.
