Amendment of Defence Act, 1954 . |
19.—The Defence Act, 1954 , is hereby amended by— |

|
(a) the insertion in section 169 (b), after “rape”, of “, rape under section 4 (within the meaning of the Criminal Law (Rape) (Amendment) Act, 1990) or aggravated sexual assault (within the meaning of the Criminal Law (Rape) (Amendment) Act, 1990)”, and |

|
(b) the substitution in section 192 (3) of “, rape, rape under section 4 (within the meaning of the Criminal Law (Rape) (Amendment) Act, 1990) or aggravated sexual assault (within the meaning of the Criminal Law (Rape) (Amendment) Act, 1990)” for “or rape”. |
