COMBAT POVERTY AGENCY (MEMBERSHIP) REGULATIONS, 1989.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 7 (8) of the Combat Poverty Agency Act, 1986 (No. 14 of 1986), hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Combat Poverty Agency (Membership) Regulations, 1989.

2. The maximum number of members of the Combat Poverty Agency specified in section 7 (1) of the Combat Poverty Agency Act, 1986 is hereby varied by the substitution of "twelve" for "ten".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide for an increase in the membership of the Board of the Combat Poverty Agency from ten to twelve persons.
