LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SUPERANNUATION) ACT, 1980 (SECTION 11) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1987.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the power conferred on him by paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section 12 of the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1980 (No. 8 of 1980), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1980 (Section 11) (Commencement) Order, 1987.

2. Section 11 of the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1980 shall come into operation on the 10th day of December, 1987.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings section 11 of the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1980 into operation on the date specified therein.
