AIR POLLUTION ACT, 1987 (COMMENCEMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1987.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Air Pollution Act, 1987 (No. 6 of 1987), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Air Pollution Act, 1987 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1987.

2. In this Order—

'the Act' means the Air Pollution Act, 1987 .

3. Sections 50 and 52 of the Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1987.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings into operation, from 1st October, 1987, those provisions of the Air Pollution Act, 1987 which are set out in Article 3 of the Order.
