GROUND RENTS REGISTERS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1984

I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 34 of the Landlord and Tenant (Ground Rents) Act, 1967 (No. 3 of 1967), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Ground Rents Registers (Amendment) Regulations, 1984.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1984.

(3) The Ground Rents Registers Regulations, 1967 and 1983, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Ground Rents Registers Regulations, 1967 to 1984.

2. The Ground Rents Registers Regulations, 1967 ( S.I. No. 152 of 1967 ), are hereby amended by the substitution of the following for the Second Schedule (inserted by Regulation 4 of the Ground Rents Registers (Amendment) Regulations, 1983):

"SECOND SCHEDULE

Fees to be charged for inspection of, and for copies of entries in, registers of awards

Item 1:

Inspecting each register

50p

Item 2:

Delivery of a copy of each entry signed by county registrar

£2.60

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations prescribe the fees to be charged for inspecting registers and for copies of entries in them for the purpose of section 21 (2) of the Landlord and Tenant (Ground Rents) Act, 1967 .
