FINANCE ACT, 1981 (CERTIFICATES OF REASONABLE COST) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1983.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of the Housing Act, 1966 (No. 21 of 1966) and section 18 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1979 (No. 27 of 1979) (as applied by sections 23 and 24 of the Finance Act, 1981 (No. 16 of 1981)) hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Finance Act, 1981 (Certificate of Reasonable Cost) Regulations, 1981 (Amendment) Regulations, 1983.

2. The following article shall be substituted for article 5 of the Finance Act, 1981 (Certificates of Reasonable Cost) Regulations, 1981 ( S.I. No. 300 of 1981 ):—

"5. The fee accompanying an application for a certificate shall be as follows—

( a ) in case the application relates to one house only, £40,

( b ) in case the application relates to more than one house, £40 plus £14 in respect of each house exceeding one."

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations amend article 5 of the Finance Act, 1981 (Certificate of Reasonable Cost) Regulations, 1981. They provide for an increase in the fee accompanying an application for a Certificate of Reasonable Cost for the purposes of section 23 and 24 of the Finance Act, 1981 .
