Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1983

Repeals.

14.—The following are hereby repealed as on and from the appointed day:

(a) in the Exchequer and Audit Departments Act, 1866, in section 10, the words “, and the Postmaster General”,

(b) in the Exchequer and Audit Departments Act, 1921, in section 2 (1), the words “, and Post Office”,

(c) in the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 , paragraph (ix) of section 1 and the Eighth Part of the Schedule , and

(d) the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1959 .
