GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 9th day of July, 1982.

SEÁN DOHERTY,

Minister for Justice.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order varies the periods of winter time, and consequently summer time, for the years 1983, 1984 and 1985. The effect of the Order will be that standard (summer) time will begin one week later in these years than under the present law. A minor effect of the Order will be that the time of change from winter time to summer time and vice versa will be 1 a.m. in the morning (G.M.T.) rather than 2 a.m.

This Order gives effect to an E.E.C. Directive concerning summer time in E.E.C. Member States.
