Duration of Rent Restrictions (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1981.

1.—The following section shall be substituted for section 2 of the Rent Restrictions (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1981 (inserted by the Rent Restrictions (Temporary Provisions) (Continuance) Act, 1981 ):

“2. This Act shall have effect until the 25th day of July, 1982, or the date of the commencement of the Housing (Private Rented Dwellings) Act, 1982, whichever first occurs, and shall then expire.”.
