S.I. No. 369/1981 - Brucellosis in Cattle (General Provisions) (Amendment) Order, 1981.


I, ALAN M. DUKES, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Sections 3 and 19 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), as adapted by the Agriculture and Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 31 of 1977 ), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This order may be cited as the Brucellosis in Cattle (General Provisions) (Amendment) Order, 1981.

(2) The Brucellosis in Cattle (General Provisions) Order, 1980 ( S.I. No. 286 of 1980 ), and this Order may be cited together as the Brucellosis in Cattle (General Provisions) Orders, 1980 and 1981.

(3) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1981.

2. The following is hereby substituted for the First Schedule to the Brucellosis in Cattle (General Provisions) Order, 1980:

“FIRST SCHEDULE

Part I

Clearance Area.

The Area comprising the administrative counties of Carlow, Cork, Kerry, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Limerick, Longford, Offaly, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow.

Part II

Disease-Free Area.

The area comprising the administrative counties of Cavan, Clare, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Leitrim, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Roscommon and Sligo”.
