OIREACHTAS (ALLOWANCES TO MEMBERS) (TRAVELLING FACILITIES) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS, 1980.

I, GENE FITZGERALD, Minister for the Public Service, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 (1) of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Amendment) Act, 1964 (No. 14 of 1964), and the Public Service (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1973 ( S.I. No. 294 of 1973 ), hereby make the following regulations:—

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1980.

(2) The collective citation "the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 to 1980", shall include these Regulations.

2. (1) The Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 ( S.I. No. 281 of 1964 ), are hereby amended by the substitution for the Schedule thereto (inserted by Regulation 3 of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations, 1980 ( S.I. No. 210 of 1980 ) of the Schedule to these Regulations.

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Regulation shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January 1980.
