THE FIRE PREVENTION COUNCIL (ESTABLISHMENT) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1980.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1971 (No. 6 of 1971) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Fire Prevention Council (Establishment) (Amendment) Order, 1980.

2. The Fire Prevention Council (Establishment) Order, 1978 and this Order may be cited together as the Fire Prevention Council (Establishment) Orders, 1978 and 1980.

3. Article 13 of the Fire Prevention Council (Establishment) Order, 1978 is hereby amended by the insertion of the following sub-article after sub-article (2) (c):—

"(3) The Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1956 (No. 10 of 1956) shall apply to the Council as if it were a local authority".
