Interpretation. |
1.—(1) In this Act— |

|
“the Board” means the Irish Film Board established by section 3 of this Act; |

|
“the establishment day” means the day appointed to be the establishment day for the purposes of this Act by order of the Minister under section 2 of this Act; |
||
|
“film” means a motion picture; |
||
|
“functions” includes powers and duties; |
||
|
“the Minister” means the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism. |
||
|
(2) A reference in this Act to performance of functions includes, in relation to powers, a reference to exercise of those powers. |
