Officers and servants.

9.—(1) The Institute may appoint such and so many persons to be its officers (in addition to the Director) and servants as, subject to the approval of the Minister given with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, it from time to time thinks proper.

(2) An officer (including the Director) or servant of the Institute shall hold his office or employment on such terms and conditions as the Institute, subject to the approval of the Minister given with the concurrence of the Minister for the Public Service, may from time to time determine.

(3) The Institute shall not remove or suspend any of its officers (including the Director) from office without the consent of the Minister.

(4) The Institute may perform such of its functions as it may deem proper through or by any of its officers or servants duly authorised by the Institute in that behalf.

(5) There shall be paid by the Institute to its officers (including the Director) and servants such remuneration and allowances as it, subject to the approval of the Minister given with the concurrence of the Minister for the Public Service, may from time to time determine.
