BRUCELLOSIS IN CATTLE (MOVEMENT CONTROL) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1979.

I, JAMES GIBBONS, Minister for Agriculture, hereby, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 20 of the Disease of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), as adapted by the Agriculture and Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 31 of 1977 ), order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Brucellosis in Cattle (Movement Control) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1979.

(2) The collective citation "the Brucellosis in Cattle (Movement Control) Orders, 1973 to 1979," shall include this Order.

2. Article 2 (1) of the Brucellosis in Cattle (Movement Control) Order, 1978 ( S.I. No. 251 of 1978 ), is hereby amended by the insertion of "Cork", before "Donegal" in the definition of "the area" therein contained, and the said definition, as amended by this Article, is set out in the Table to this Article.

TABLE ,

"the area" means the area comprised of the administrative counties of Cavan, Clare, Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Leitrim, Longford, Louth, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Roscommon, Sligo, Westmeath, together with that part of the administrative county of Limerick lying North of the River Shannon, that part of the county borough of Limerick lying North of the River Shannon and that part of the administrative county of Offaly lying North and West of the River Brosna.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order by amending the Brucellosis in Cattle (Movement Control) Order 1978 extends the provisions of that Order to County Cork.
