I, GENE FITZGERALD, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 (2) of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Worker Participation (Cómhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teoranta) (Nomination Day) Regulations, 1979.

2. The 14th day of March, 1979, is in relation to Comhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teoranta hereby appointed to be the nomination day for the purposes of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These regulations appoint 14th March, 1979, as the day on which nominations of candidates at an election held under the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 , in relation to Cómhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teoranta shall be received by the returning officer.
